Game Summary
At the top of the page, you’ll see a summary of your game configuration:
- Order ID: Your purchase reference (or “Free trial”)
- Launch: When the game starts (manual or scheduled time)
- Duration: The time limit for players
- Players: How players join (self-registering or number defined)
- Checkpoints: Order mode (defined order or any order)
- Penalty: Minutes added for missed/skipped checkpoints
- Total checkpoints: Number of active checkpoints in your game
Tip: Review each line in the summary. If anything looks wrong, use the links to go back and fix it.
Validation Checks
The system automatically checks your game for issues. These appear as colored alerts:
Green (Recommended): Everything looks good! These are positive confirmations or optional suggestions.
Yellow (Warning): Something to review, but not blocking. Consider making changes.
Red (Critical): Must be fixed before you can create the game. Click the link to go to the relevant step.
Fixing Issues
Each validation message includes a link to the relevant setup step. Click the link to:
- Go to that step
- Make the necessary changes
- Return to the Create step
The validation checks update automatically when you return.
Creating Your Game
When you’re ready:
- Ensure all critical (red) issues are resolved
- Review any warnings and decide if changes are needed
- Click the “Create” button
Important: Once you click Create, your game is finalized. You cannot make further changes to the setup. Make sure everything is correct before proceeding!
If the Create Button is Disabled
The button is disabled when there are critical (red) issues. Look for red alerts on the page and follow their links to fix the problems.
What Happens After Creation
After clicking Create:
- Game is generated: Your checkpoints, players, and settings are locked in
- Redirect to Dashboard: You’ll be taken to the organizer dashboard
- Ready to share: You can now share the game link with players
- Launch when ready: Either manually or at the scheduled time
Pre-Creation Checklist
Before clicking Create, confirm:
- All checkpoint photos are uploaded and have location data
- Search areas are positioned correctly
- Player list or registration mode is set up
- Game options match your intended gameplay
- All text content is reviewed and appropriate
- No red (critical) alerts remain
- You’ve addressed any yellow warnings you care about
Ready? Once everything looks good, click Create and get ready to run your game!
After Creation
Once your game is created, you’ll move to the Organizer Dashboard where you can:
- Share the game link with players
- Review your game setup
- Launch the game when you’re ready
